What is Sports Massage?
Sports Massage is individually tailored application of soft tissue massage and stretching techniques applied to muscle and connective tissues of the body to treat the stress, tension and fatigue that occurs through occupational, recreational or sporting activity.

Sports Massage increases range of movement, increases flexibility and relieves muscle soreness.  It assists in injury prevention and promotes faster recovery from training, competition and injury.

What should I wear for an Sports Massage treatment?
If it is appropriate and you are comfortable to do so, your osteopath will ask you to dress down to your underwear, if you are uncomfortable to do this please wear baggy clothes such as shorts or a track suit.

You are welcome to bring a friend or relative with you if it makes you feel more comfortable.

How much does a Sports Massage treatment cost?
The current fees are £38 per visit, payable by cash or cheque.

How long does an appointment last?
Your first visit will normally last approx 1 hour and subsequent visits will normally last for 45 minutes. However, please note that these appointment lengths may vary as some conditions need extra time and some require less time.
